Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round with a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final bout with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Her first fight of note came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, lost to Randamie. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a unanimous verdict.
